Visitors to the Skye Show
2019 saw the return of the Ore County Terriers, back on our programme of main ring events. Their terrier racing has proved very popular previously and we hope you all enjoyed it again. The Isle of Skye Pipe Band started our programme of events with a procession from the square. There was entertainment from the Highland Dancers and Sheep Shearing demonstrations. We also had the Crofter's Olympics, Skye It's a Knockout, Tug of War and Giant Pass the Parcel. In the Crofters Olympics were teams consisting of one adult and one child who were competing for the 'Crofters Olympic Shield'.

As well as our usual livestock classes we were very excited to see the return in 2019 of our Poultry Section and saw many of your feathered friends in all their glory. As always we had our craft and cookery classes and were delighted at the projects you had been beavering away at in 2019.
In 2019 we had a time trial obstacle course for the kids with the two fastest competing for the honor of being overall winner
